Udyam Registration Online for MSME’s

The Udyam Registration site is managed by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. It provides information about registration and ways to make the process as easy as feasible for everyone. Moreover, this easy-to-use platform allows for paperless and cost-free registration.

MSMEs stand for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. A microenterprise is one with a capital investment in plant, machinery, and equipment of less than one crore and a turnover of fewer than five crores. A small firm is one that invests less than ten crores in the plant, machinery, and equipment and has revenues of less than fifty crores. A medium-sized corporation has fewer than fifty crores in the plant, machinery, and equipment and less than 250 crores in revenues.

Guide on Udyam Registration Home Page and Registration process

You’ll see the portal’s main page if you go to https://udyamregistration.gov.in/. The home page offers a link to “Udyam Registration,” which allows new entrepreneurs who are not yet registered as MSME to register, as well as those who are already registered as EM-II or UAM, to re-register.

The first tab on the main page is NIC Code, which opens a new tab with a PDF file. The PDF refers to the “National Industrial Classification (All Economic Activities),” which was issued in 2008 by the Central Statistical Organization, Ministry of Statistics, and Programme Implementation. It includes all of the data from the National Industrial Classification (NIC). The National Indicator Code (NIC) is a statistical standard used to maintain and construct an economic activity comparison database.

The “Site Highlights” option displays the site’s highlights. Because the site is fully integrated with government systems, registration occurs without the need for any paper, evidence, or document. GeM, the Government e-Marketplace, the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), and a number of other State Government portals are linked to the portal. This site provides MSMEs access to their Market Place, e-Tendering method, and other benefits and services.

“Print Udyam Certificate” will take you to a page where you may print your Udyam Registration Certificate when you’ve received your Registration Number. Instructions for obtaining the certificate may be found on the right side of the website. In the first column on the left side of the page, enter the Registration Number.

In the second column, enter the phone number from the Udyam Registration application. Following that, an OTP option should be chosen. The application defines whether OTP should be sent through mobile or email. After you’ve made your OTP selections, click the “Validate & Generate OTP” button.

The OTP is sent in line with the choice chosen. Enter the OTP in the OTP field, then click the “Validate & Print” button. Following the validation of the OTP, you will be sent to the Print Certificate page, where you can print the certificate.

The platform is linked to TReDS and the MSME SAMADHAAN Portal, assisting MSMEs in dealing with Delayed MSME Payments. By utilizing the Udyam Registration Number, you may be able to have access to a variety of Ministry of MSME programs and incentives.
