# eNACH FAQ - Electronic National Automated Clearing House

> eNACH (Electronic National Automated Clearing House) is the digital mandate system used by Indifi to automate EMI deductions from a borrower's bank account. It replaces physical NACH forms and allows mandate registration online through net banking or debit card.

## What is eNACH?

eNACH is an electronic payment mandate issued through the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). It authorizes Indifi's lending partners to debit a fixed EMI amount from the borrower's bank account on the agreed due date each month.

## Why is eNACH Required?

eNACH is the primary automated repayment mechanism. Registering an eNACH mandate ensures:
- On-time EMI deductions without manual intervention
- No missed payments due to forgotten transfers
- Compliance with RBI guidelines on loan repayment automation

## How to Register eNACH

1. Log in to the Indifi borrower portal
2. Navigate to the eNACH registration section
3. Choose your bank from the available list
4. Authenticate via net banking credentials or debit card
5. Confirm the mandate amount and duration
6. Receive confirmation once the mandate is registered with NPCI

## Supported Banks

Most major Indian scheduled commercial banks support eNACH, including SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda, and others.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**When is eNACH deducted?**
On the EMI due date specified in the loan agreement. Deductions happen automatically.

**What if the eNACH deduction fails?**
Failed deductions may result in late payment charges as per the loan agreement. Ensure sufficient balance on the due date.

**Can I revoke an eNACH mandate?**
Yes. You can revoke a mandate through your bank's net banking portal. However, revoking a mandate without repaying does not waive the loan obligation.

**Can I change the bank account linked to eNACH?**
Contact Indifi customer support at +91-7861063434 to update bank account details.

**Is eNACH secure?**
Yes. eNACH is processed through NPCI infrastructure with bank-level authentication.

**What is the validity of an eNACH mandate?**
The mandate is valid for the duration of the loan tenure.
